English Mastiff - Dogs 101

The English Mastiff (also named the “Old English Mastiff” or just the Mastiff) is officially known as the largest dog breed in the world and they can feature a fawn, apricot or brindle coat with a dark face mask. The breed dates back to Ancient Roman times with their likeness featuring on several monuments, and was later famously used in England for the key function of guarding against wolves and thieves. They are renowned for their giant size and devoted but surprisingly gentle temperament – which in essence make the English Mastiff a fitting choice for single owners or families with the space to care for such a massive dog that are also willing to spend time wiping up a significant amount of drool.
